ATTENTION - THE OAK HILLS 8TH WARD HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR CARE AND UPKEEP OF THE CENTER PART OF THE CHURCH BUILDING (THE CHAPEL, CULTURAL HALL, STAGE, AND HIGH COUNCIL ROOM).

THIS IS A SHARED RESPONSIBILITY AMONG ALL OF US.  

If your last name begins with the letters C, D, or E, please consider staying after church for just a bit to help pick up and vacuum.  Please meet Mitchell Davies by the kitchen to help out.

April 25th - 5 pm - Ward Talent Show

The evening  will be in a dinner show format. We invite all to attend. All talent presentations are limited to 3 minutes to allow the maximum number of people to participate. A sound system will be provided and fog and bubble machines are allowed. Please use this form to sign up: Sign up Sheet

May 1st - Friday - 7 pm  3rd Annual “Sounds of Worship” concert in the BYU Museum of Art. The concert will feature the music of worship services from the various religious groups throughout Utah. The Hare Krishna Temple, Islamic Turkish mosque, Arabic Islamic mosque, and the St Mary Episcopal religious traditions are some of the groups that will be joining us this year

May 9th - Saturday - Lindon Temple

May 13th - Saturday - 7:00 pm   Ward Book Group (High council room) with Rochelle Zibetti. The book being discussed is “Cinder” by Marissa Meyer. 

May 23rd - 9 am May Ward activity Day trip to Wall Lake (1.5 hours north of Provo). Meet at the church at 9:00am

July 5 - United Fast of Gratitude for Religious Liberty

July 26 - 28th Utah County Mid-Single Adult Conference "Better Together" Meaningful Connections through Christ

Musical Numbers: If you are interested in doing a musical number during sacrament meeting, please contact Lindsay Priday.

Reminder: Activities will be wrapping up around 10:15 pm because the building needs to be cleaned and locked up by 10:30 pm. In the recent past we have done activities until the sun come up, but now we will respect the 10:30 pm time. Please plan your attendance accordingly.

Temple Foundations Class: Join us for Temple Foundations class. We meet in the high council room during Sunday School hour. It is not Temple Prep. The Temple Foundations class is about enhancing our understanding of the temple, covenants, worship in the house of the Lord, and ministering on both sides of the veil.  Anyone can come to all the lessons or only the topics that most interest them.
