ATTENTION - THE OAK HILLS 8TH WARD HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR CARE AND UPKEEP OF THE CENTER PART OF THE CHURCH BUILDING (THE CHAPEL, CULTURAL HALL, STAGE, AND HIGH COUNCIL ROOM).

THIS IS A SHARED RESPONSIBILITY AMONG ALL OF US.  

If your last name begins with the letters F, G, or H, please consider staying after church for just a bit to help pick up and vacuum.  Please meet Mikhail Pappin by the kitchen to help out.

-September 11 - 7:00pm - Endowment Session at the Provo City Center Temple. Meet in the temple chapel 5-10 minutes early. 

-September 13 - 10:00am - Endowment Session at the Jordan River Temple. Please meet in the temple chapel 5-10 minutes early. For carpooling, meet at the church at 8:30 AM. We will be leaving by 8:45 AM.

-September 19 - 6:30pm - Book Group with Rochelle Zibetti. We're reading The Speed of Trust by Stephen M.R.Covey.

Musical Numbers: If you are interested in doing a musical number during sacrament meeting, please contact Lindsay Priday.

Reminder: Activities will be wrapping up around 10:15 pm because the building needs to be cleaned and locked up by 10:30 pm. In the recent past we have done activities until the sun come up, but now we will respect the 10:30 pm time. Please plan your attendance accordingly. 

Temple Foundations Class: Join us for Temple Foundations class. We meet in the high council room during Sunday School hour. It is not Temple Prep. The Temple Foundations class is about enhancing our understanding of the temple, covenants, worship in the house of the Lord, and ministering on both sides of the veil.  Anyone can come to all the lessons or only the topics that most interest them.

Big News!! We created a Group Me for temple work. Search for “Oak Hills 8th Ward Temple Group” in the Group Me app. It's similar to the walking group (please see above for more information), you can post something like "I am doing the 7:00pm session at Provo City Center on May 10 if anyone wants to join meet in the temple chapel at 6:45pm”
